Successful Seconds!

So, I decided to try the same pattern again and, voila, success! This one is Lion Brand Wool-Ease using a J hook which is two hook sizes larger than the one I used on the first go round. Then, since it is for a little girl, I had to add the pom-pom. I'm contemplating making another hat for variety...
More Pics:
It will be cute if the edge needs to be turned up!
The hat is so stretchy that I can actually try this one on. =-)
As disappointed as I was the first time, I'm that happy with the final version.
The Adventures never end.

Pretty! I'm not a pompom person but it looks perfect on that hat. Have you tried the Swirls Cap - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/swirls-cap ? It was a fun pattern; the hardest thing was cutting the plastic to fit the brim.

That's so pretty; I love the way the pom-pom looks on it!

You did a great job on them. I love the pom-pom, but you already know that. LOL
