Another Sunday, another hat. I weighed the left over yarn from hat #1, and found there was enough for a second hat even though I had used a tiny bit of this skein for another purpose. Well, you know how swatches lie? Well, so does my scale!

Here's the hat looking oh so cute, just like the first one. But, below is all the yarn that was left to make the second ear flap. Not looking so good!

A bit of reassessment, digging in the stash, frogging, and rework yielded this:

Still cute! I got to play around with a bit of embellishment sooner than I thought. Can't you just see a little person bopping along with the braid bouncing around? Now to pick a new color for the next one...
